cultural tensions, not
lately i've got the feeling that a lot of people who are supposed to be feeling intercultural tensions between muslims and non-muslims just aren't really. like maybe they decided they weren't going to play along with the fear-mongering and racism and stereotyping. i dunno, that's just the impression i'm getting from my day-to-day experience. at the moment it feels as if people are deliberately being respectful and courteous to each other.
