sis thought it was unkind of me
i guess my sis thought it was very unkind of me to have responded to a cousin's injuncion to not let the door hit me in the ass on my way out of 'OUR' country for feeling different from her posted pledge of allegiance. my sis thought my timing was bad (because it was 10th anniversary of nine eleven).
i think my timing has only ever been bad when i was too late. so i wrote a reasonably long letter to her and my other livelings about that subject. trying to suggest that if somebody makes an extreme nationalistic statement, and i react to it, maybe i'm not the one who offended. that perhaps nationalsim is itself the offence. could it be that if i keep saying that for 100 years, somebody will believe me?
