it's windy
on friday night i went to dinner by myself at tong ah, then i went to chico's bar and had a nicer than average time there. it was pretty quiet, possibly because of foul weather, but it was nice. huby was there, and kaloyan, and camilla and nanu.
i had a lot of dreams both yesterday and today. and i got some work done. i finished draft 1 of the 'trident' product film. also i finished the 'continuum' film, although we don't yet know if client wants to or can pay for it (kinda did it on spec).
very windy today again. we had a stretch of real summertime at the turn of october, but that's well past us now. the work on the torn up street in front of our house continued through last night, causing some sleep deprivation around here. looks like they've put in some new tram rails.
my old raid is definitely dead, data was unrecoverable. fortunately most everything was backed up elsewhere on other disks. but i had to ask mbc to send me back two disks i'd shipped them last march.
i've read all the books i bought of jay atkinson except 'legends of winter hill' which i'm starting now. jay atkinson is the only author i've been reading. oh yeah i had a dream he and i were crossing a street in the winter, and i told him both his fiction and nonfiction were equally good.
i've been working on another short story in my spare time. haven't done any more work on the ranjit story in a couple weeks, i feel like i need to sit and talk to him to find out more information before i can write more.
