free market versus crime
another point of confusion:
what some people call 'free market' is revealed (again) to be a vast criminal kleptocracy. therefore some other people conclude that a free market really is the bad thing. it's not true. crime isn't a free market. coercing, enslaving and strangling people isn't freedom. nor is it free of charge: it comes at a hefty price.
a free market is what we normally live in, whenever people aren't trying to rule us. you and i negotiate about something and we make a deal. if i think i am so powerful that i can *force* you to agree to my deal, that's not a free market. you can (and should) take away my power by ignoring me.
