me and youtube
i recently found myself making more clips for youtube, and starting to care about it too much really. like, wishing for views etc. getting sucked into the thing. a couple of movies i made, i brought to the attention of some of my favorite youtube stars, and when they liked them, more other people watched them. on 12 march i started actually tracking which vids got more views when. from then till yesterday, total views increased by 13170. i'm up to 94945 views now. that seems like a lot to me, but then again it doesn't.
seems like a lot of youtube grumps complain about 'girls who are just doing it for the attention'. i'm like uh, yeah. why would somebody put a video of themselves on the internet, if not for the attention? i'm doing it for the attention too. i put a movie on youtube and i hope people will see it. there are plenty of people in my life who want attention, including a couple of cats. i have no problem with people who want attention.
but i am a bit worried about how much i am starting to care about youtube.
