one of my more inebriated guests said 'collins, when we go, can we take that bottle of vodka too?'
and i said 'no, i want my vodka.'
which made me feel kinda stingy, because normally i try to give people whatever they want. but the thing is, i didn't feel like it was mine alone to give, because other people here also drink that.
so now i feel doubly bad, first because i made myself appear stingy, and second because the bottle vanished anyway. i went to clean up and it was just gone.
