cameras lately
i noticed that one of the whisper people, softsoundswhispers, is using a camera that performs quite well. it has no trouble with close focus and its lens is quite wide, and the contrast range in her clips is almost always pleasing. she said it's just a sony HD handycam somebody gave her for christmas. so now i'm trying to figure out which HD handycam. i've been checking web pages for

hdr-cx760v
they have the 'g' lens and can shoot 1020/60p, and some kind of sophisticated focus-tracking system. i'm having trouble figuring out the real differences between them because there's no side-by-side tabular comparison.
i'm also interested in a sony camera called ... what the hell was it now ...

the one that shoots full hd at 240 fps. saw some demos of that. i think that camera goes for something like 8000 body only.
also i need to buy new software. i need adobe CS 7 or whatever they have now. thinking of migrating my editing to premiere as well.
so i need lots of money i don't have.
