color grading macros for NLE
i was just thinking: it would be handy if editing software enabled you to save a set of color grading actions per project / per clip name. rather than just generic 'favorites'. say for example that i use two color correction filters on 'dr michel' interview clips, and a different two on 'dr ciatto'. if i then decide dr ciatto looks too bright or too pink, and i change his color grading to go better with dr michel's, it would be nice if that change to that grading macro automatically cascaded to all other uses in the show. instead of me having to manually remove and replace the color filtering.
that would be something good to have in a nonlinear editor. i'm not sure which, if any, software currently does that.
