thanksgiving dinner at tong
i forgot to mention, thursday's dinner at mr tong's seemed to come off okay. i think it ended up being only 30 guests instead of 35. i was stressing about trying to write down people's dinner orders all on one sheet of paper, to help smooth things for the kitchen. i dunno if that actually helped or not. but definitely it was a good idea to pre-order a pile of dim sum before anybody arrived. and i think they were able to keep each other entertained enough that everybody felt pretty okay about when their main dishes came.
i wish i hadn't been feeling so dizzy the whole night.
